Meet Sel Watts
We often hear about the “born entrepreneur”: the kid with a lemonade stand at five and a paper round at ten. I wasn’t that kid. But early in my working life, I knew I wanted three things.
I never wanted to rely on anyone else for what I needed in life.
The freedom to design a life around my beliefs, passions and goals, since so much of life is shaped by the work we do.
Books, quotes, human stories: inspiration has fuelled me since I was little. I wanted to pass it on.
I didn’t know the word “entrepreneur” until well into my first business. 18+ years later, I know that building a business delivers all three, and much more.

I’ve been the founder pulling all-nighters because a team member quit unexpectedly. I’ve trained someone only to watch them underperform or leave. And I’ve felt the weight of knowing my decisions affect not just my life, but my team’s and their families’.

wattsnextpx began with a single client and a relentless drive to do people work differently.
We grew it into a high-impact consultancy, working with hundreds of founders, CEOs and scale-up teams.
Then we did what most don’t: we expanded into the U.S. and built again. New clients, new challenges, same obsession.
We know how to grow because we’ve done it. We know what breaks when you scale fast, and how to fix it.
